This is my first classical guitar album [2009]. I recorded it twice. The first time there was computer noise bleeding into the mics. Had to scrap the whole thing, lick my wounds, and start all over again…The vibe and fidelity are warm, clean, and intimate.
Suscepit from Magnificat
This is an arrangement I transcribed by ear [sorry purists, there may be notes added/missing!] and originally arranged for one acoustic guitar. It was sappy on one guitar because you really need the sustain of voices blending together to move the winds. Three prototype telecasters were tracked and one acoustic steel string with an ebow and added organ all marinated with tons of reverb. Wagwan.
